Abstract
This article reports on Mexican students' perceptions of the U.S.A. and its inhabitants. These perceptions are based on findings emerging from a broader research project reported on in ELA; año 16; número 27; páginas 65-93. This particular article discusses in detail the collateral results found in data with students who study French; German and English. Students judged the United States negatively as seen in the stereotypes they mentioned. Questions raised by the findings of the data will be considered in this discussion.
