How to Select the Type of Submission and How to Prepare your Paper
Before you submit your paper, you must determine the type of text you want to send in, whether it be an article, a note, a book review or a book notice and prepare your paper by following these considerations.
Characteristics that are expected to be present in the papers submitted to ELA
The papers submitted to ELA for review are expected to meet the following criteria:
- The work is original and it constitutes a contribution to the field or to the theoretical framework adopted.
- The paper shows a clear and precise command of the subject area and of the contents which are explored within it.
- The text is organized in a clear and coherent way: there is a clear definition of objectives, proposals and/or hypothesis and these are coherent with the development and conclusion of the paper.
- The methodology and/or the theoretical framework used in the research are adequate.
- The literature is appropriate, sufficient and up to date.
- The writing is clear and the style is consistent with that of a scientific paper.
- The headings of the sections and subsections are appropriate (they identify the clearly differentiated parts of the articles and are coherent with the contents they introduce).
- The title, abstract and keywords are clear and appropriate to the contents of the text.
