Ana Lucía Cuevas egresó en 2020 de la licenciatura en Idiomas en la Universidad de las Américas Puebla, en Puebla, México. Fue acreedora a la beca Fulbright García-Robles en 2023 y actualmente estudia una maestría en Lingüística Hispánica Aplicada en la Universidad de Maryland College Park e imparte clases de español como lengua extranjera a nivel licenciatura en la misma institución. Sus principales líneas de investigación son el bilingüismo, el español como lengua de herencia, la migración de retorno y la ideología lingüística.
