Usos y valores de la preposición italiana 'DA' y sus equivalencias en español

Abstract


The prepositon DA in Italian; due to its polysemic character; causes problems to Spanish speaker studying Italian as a foreign language. This article describes and analyses the preposition and its most frequent uses in contemporary written Italian; and offers its equivalences in Spanish. In order to classify its uses; the basis for the study relies on the one hand on the semantic concept of 'origin'; and on the other; on the frequency rates of presentation; according to statistical data obtained from the corpus of the study. The objective of this descriptive-contrastive study is to present a more contemporary and factual panorama of the preposition focusing on some aspects of didactic interest.
