La derivación en la gramática y en el diccionario
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to take a stand before one of the dilemmas in lexicography: Should afixed words be included or not? After refuting the opinion that procedures are univocal and that words formed in a "regular" manyier could he omitted from the dictionaries; a number of examples are presented showing a multiplicity of functions and values associated with a single procedure even with normal application. The conclusion is reached that it is precisely the purpose of a dictionary to inform which of the options given in a derivation grammar has truly been lexicalized and is part of everyday usage.
