Estrategias y habilidades de lectura: opinan los profesores. Resultados de entrevistas en la UNAM

Abstract


The previous stage of this study was an analysis of the taxonomies of strategies/skills proposed by Munby (1978); Sarig (en Cohen; 1986); Grabe 1986; Cao 1988 and Oxford 1990; during a seminar on reading comprehension which took place at CELEUNAM. They found that only three strategies/skills had been included by the five aforementioned researchers: skimming use of previous knowledge and identification of key information in the text. Besides; only four of them mentioned: identification of evident markers; identification of the global structure of the text and the specific information.
