Una experiencia de aprendizaje del español en el ámbito universitario: la correción de estilo
Abstract
This paper show the results of an experience aimed at Spanish language teaching with a specific purpose: manuscript editing of translated texts. The research was carried out in order to develop a syllabus for the subject “Copy-editing ”; for the Courses on Book Production; recently opened at the School of Philosopy and Literature of the University of Buenos Aires. The paper deals with the development of a theoretical framework based on three essential notions: written language; general language; and specialized language.Regarding the design of didactic materials; an approach to texts is proposed from different levels: phonological and graphemic; morphological; syntactic; lexical; and textual (compositive; pragmatic and stylistic). The main points of the theoretical research are outlined and the traits of and the way to use the materials already published (student’s booklets) are explained.
