Conocimiento y pragmática en los fundamentos de la semántica
Abstract
Contemporary semantics research; in its non formalist or logical schools; has become more and more oriented toward ‘cognitive semantics’ Nevertheless; as valuable as its contributions might be; a clear definition of its theoretical foundations is lacking. In this paper I will present the two that seem to be the most important for a serious; systematic and rigorous basis for a theory of linguistic semantics: pragmatics; in the radical sense of the Konstanza School (Kambartel; Schneider; Lorenz); and a reasoned hypothesis about human knowledge; based on phenomenology and gestalt theory that incorporates research findings discovered about prototypes-stereotypes-archetypes.
Keywords
Pragmatics; sociolinguistics; semantics; cognitive semantics; theory of gestalt; prototypes - stereotypes - archetypes;
