Construcción y evaluación de un software de teorías de adquisición de lenguaje

Abstract


This paper describes the design; implementation and evaluation of a software to teach applied linguistics to foreign languages at the university level. Its main objectives are: 1. to strengthen the teachingAearning process related to second language acquisition theories; 2. to motivate university students to use computational technology. This software includes 10 second language acquisition theories; a glossary of 243 tecnicisms; 10 graphics and schemes; formative and sumative evaluations including different kinds of exercises and key answers. Computational implementation is based on three tasks: -Implementation of information about linguistic theories in hyperwriter. - Construction of programs for formative and sumative evaluations using Pilot as computational language. -Implementation of graphics and schemes to ilustrate some contents; using Harvard Graphics.
