Abstract
The purpose of this article is to tell my experience as “teacher-subject ” participant in a project of action-re search carried out in the Department of Applied Linguistics in the Centro de Enseñanza de Lenguas Extranjeras; UNAM. In the first part; I briefly present the basic characteristics of the research-action; the Mckernan*s model and the role of the “teacher-subject” considered by this model. The second part; refers to my experiences as “teacher-subject” and concisely describes the different parts of the work done. Finally; I try to emphasize the importance of having participated in the project “Interaction in the classroom of Portuguese as a foreign language” as ‘ teacher-subject’ and the benefits obtained.
