A la búsqueda de las metáforas perdidas

Céline Desmet Argain

Abstract

In this article, an analysis to the use of metaphors, from the novel Du côté de chez Swann by Marcel Proust, is carried out. This case study, which has a salient linguistic approach, implements critically the model developed by Andrew Goatly (1998). In this paper, the reader can appreciate, among other things, the study of intertwined metaphors present in the work of Proust. Finally, some aspects of the results obtained from using his model are discussed.
