Las exposiciones de los alumnos en clase: una análisis del discurso expositivo experto
Abstract
Recent investigations on discourse analysis carried out in the classroom have allowed to identify the characteristics of expository discourse. From these studies, it has been proven that qualified academic staff uses strategically certain abilities and speech resources in order for students to reach an appropriate construction of knowledge.
Within this conceptual framework, a critical analysis on oral presentations given by students, frequently seen in classrooms; is offered in this article. Lastly, derived from this analysis, a series of recommendations and guidelines are presented on how to use this pedagogic resource in school settings.
