Acercamiento a la problemática de la escritura de ensayos de análisis literario

Abstract

This paper presents part of a research project on literary analysis essay writing by English Literature students at the UNAM. The main objective of this project is to get a better understanding of the problems involved in essay writing. Four important aspects were considered: the writer, his/her language level, the genre and the reader community. The project was based on the idea that writing problems can only be fully explained by considering all four aspects. Methodology and results are presented.
