Abstract
The two main characteristics of phraseological expressions, fixation and idiomaticity, can make the speaker who learns a language have difficulty in understanding the meaning, since the context in which they are used not always facilitate the translation. Therefore, this workfocuses from the formal and semantic point ofview in the comparative study of some daily used Spanish expressions in Mexico and their equivalents in Korean, The purpose of this comparison is to observe the differences and similarities in the way of making phraseological expressions in both languages.
