Abstract
Identification of the learning strategies used by our students in a university context can give us insight into the process of language learning. In order to Identify these strategies introspective techniques are used. An exploratory study carried out in the CELE showed that several elicitation procedures are feasible In our context; and that these procedures can be used with different aspects of the language teaching/learning situation. The results give useful and varied information.
