Abstract

This paper sums up the methodology; data and results of the research study carried out in order to get university students’ attitude towards autonomous study In reading comprehension of texts in English. The author states the obstacles while doing the research and the solutions to solve them. It sums up the results and offers propositions for further research. Researchers interested in the 'autonomy' concept in language learning could benefit from it. The complete report was the subject to obtain a Masters Degree in Applied Linguistics.
