Función de los interpretadores en el desarrollo textual
Abstract
On the base of the interpretator notion introduced by Lüdtke (1984); this article analyzes the possible contribution of this concept for the study of Spanish. On the first part; this term will be distinguished from those of anaphor; lexical cohesion and discourse deictic. After that; some examples of oral discourse will be analyzed syntactically and semantically to demonstrate the contribution of interpretators to the study of text cohesion under three aspects: the possibilities to establish a kind of endoforic reference; the type of exoforic references related to deictics and to lexical units; and finally as a discourse connective when used with a preposition. At the end; the article studies the art of thematic continuity supported by this kind of units in the textual cohesion; especially to anchor on the text structure vague notions such as idea or paragraph; based on psychological or visual conceptions of discourse.
