La lengua francesa como opción en los estudios de licenciatura: actitudes de alumnos universitarios

Abstract


This study was Developer to analyze student’s attitudes towards the French language in the School of Languages at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México. The subjects studied were divided into two groups; those who are already studying the B.A. in French Language and Culture; to get data concerning the degree of assimilation of the students to French language and those who are studying the new course; a B.A. in Languages; to know the probability of the selection of French language as the terminal option. The data showed that the attitudes of the students of the B.A. in French Language and Culture are unfavorable; considering that they have already chosen that degree. In the case of the students of the B.A. in Languages; the percentage of those with a good attitude towards French language is low. Some indicators about these attitudes were found.
