Estudios sobre los marcadores de vacilación en coreano
Abstract
Because of the scarcity of studies related to the field of the hesitation markers, we have proposed to do a typological classification of this linguistic resource in Korean in order to facilitate the creation of future comparative studies with other languages, since it concerns the linguistic universe in that they (hesitation markers) exist in all languages.
Hesitation markers have the Junction of guaranteeing the linking of discursive segments in speech, since they are one of the typical characteristics of the spoken language. To do this classification we have based the research on the study of Laforest, adhereing to his definition and characteristics, but at the same time taking into account erf the specificity of the Korean language, since the use of these markers continues when Korean native speakers use other languages.
The importance of this research is focused on the possibility of the interrelation with other disciplines like sociolinguistics or comparative language study.
