Un modelo para la perífrasis española y el sistema de pronombres clíticos en HPSG1

Abstract

In this paper a grammatical model of the Spanish periphrasis and the system of clitic pronouns in HPSG is presented. The model covers both simple periphrases including, in addition to auxiliary and modal verbs, a single verb with a full semantic content, and also the analysis of complex periphrasis with two content verbs. In the second part of the paper a basic model of pronominal clitic sentences including enclitics and proclitics is presented; finally, in the last part, the interaction of the clitic system and the periphrasis, both simple and complex, is presented. We also report a computational implementation of the model and its validation through the analysis of these phenomena in the DIME Corpus (Villaseñor et. al., 2001), which was developed in the context of the DIME project (Pineda et. al., 2002).
